How do you (or can you) use engineers (or others) to blow bridges? Probably been discussed before but I keep having problems when I use "search".

Tanks and arty can, engineers can not, AFAIK.

Rigging a bridge to blow was a long process, and wouldn't be something you could do within the time frame of a CM game. I do think it would be interesting to give the defender in attack/assault scenarios the option of blowing bridges, but it certainly wasn't something that engineers could just run up and do. I'm sure there are some ex-sappers on the board who can talk about demolitions wink.gif

Artilleryspotters can do that.

A 120mm mortarspotter can blow up a wooden bridge ,a 150mm sig gun can do that to.

The heavie artillery has no problems with all bridges just make sure the spotter has a good los to it.

And airplanes can destroy bridges to when an enemy tank is on it if you are lucky.
