I do know that All these cards have a problem with Anti Alaising which takes the jags outta graphics. Now I also don't know if there is a feature in CM to turn this on or off, or a feature on your card that turns this on or off but I do know that it causes some weird graphical problems. Try Going to WWW.ATI.com and see if they have a driver update for the Radeon. Driver updates have helped me in the past, when having game problems concerend with graphics.
