Miyamoto Musashi Posted April 17, 2000 Share Posted April 17, 2000 Ok, I know I've already posted things about WWII diecast a couple of times, but I wanted to say that I picked up a 1/35 scale Tiger I model by Tamiya this weekend and had one of the most enjoyable weekends I've had in a while... I guess it sounds kinda weird, but I just started working on it and finished it up in a couple days, painting and detailing included. Those models are really nice and fairly simple to put together (especially if instead of regular model glue you use Quiktite super glue... dries faster and is much more stable... unless you accidentally glue something in the wrong place... then you're outta luck ) But if you're interested, do a search for "Tamiya Tiger" on eBay or one of the other auction sites... they go fairly cheap (under $20) and are a lot of fun to mess with... I built their kits for over twenty years, and I can vouch for the quality of both the armour and aircraft kits they make.
