crossfire
I can pronounce it right! This family name is Polish just as "Dzierzynski" himself (Polish spelling here - but there should be dot above the Z) I don't think I can write is phonetically is English... Bruno Weiss
I believe it's pronounced; "D-zer-hez-insky", at least in the Baltic regions, now in Japan it's "Ahso-didjano-himoto", but in Alabama's best Southern drawel, it's just "Densky". ------------------ "Wer zuerst schiesst hat mehr von Leben" Moto-(3./JG11 "Graf") Bruno "Stachel" Weiss
Moon
Yep, it's polish origins. My best shot at the phonetics would be (in english pronounciation): Jershinsky with a very hard "sh" Martin ------------------ "An hour has 60 minutes, each minute in action has a thousand dangers." - Karl-Heinz Gauch, CO 1st Panzerspähkompanie, 12th SS Panzerdivision
Guest barrold713
I am going to vote for moon's interpretation since I think I heard it pronounced that way although I can't specifically recall where. ------------------ "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb discussing what to have for lunch.
