OT: How do you pronounce Dzerhezinsky

I believe it's pronounced; "D-zer-hez-insky", at least in the Baltic regions, now in Japan it's "Ahso-didjano-himoto", but in Alabama's best Southern drawel, it's just "Densky".

Yep, it's polish origins. My best shot at the phonetics would be (in english pronounciation):

Jershinsky

with a very hard "sh"

I am going to vote for moon's interpretation since I think I heard it pronounced that way although I can't specifically recall where.
