tar
Kremmp is a tough scenario, especially since the entrenchments became stronger sometime between TacOps v1 and TacOps Classic. ***SPOILER*** Anyway, what I have found works is the following: Save your mortar ammo for SMOKE! Have the Javelins ascend the southern hill under smoke cover and then sit tight acting as spotters and taking pot shots at any vehicles that appear in the treeline. Set SOP to pop smoke after firing. Take your time in the beginning until you know what the OpFor setup is like. Initially move out of the town and see if there are any infantry overlooking the town. If so, then clear them out, mainly by relying on supporting fire from the MGs in the town. Use smoke to allow a close assault without getting shotup by OpFors supporting arms. Once that is setup, move the MGs up to the plateau, smoke the treeline and assault across the clear ground. You can cover the assault from the MGs. Assault in a close group and concentrate on one enemy position at a time. (If nobody is near the town, go to plan . You need to have enough infantry left when you enter the woods to clear it and kill the APCs. Try to kill the grenade launcher with mortar HE, spotting with the Javelins. Plan B. If nobody is on the ridge near town, then move along the low ground until close to the woods, smoke the place and assault into a corner of the woods. Then proceed as above.
