Fuerte
The Allied base color is fine, but the Axis dark grey/blue should be brighter. Also after switching to desktop with Escape key, when switching back to Combat Mission, the screen is much brighter than before. I have to hit Alt+G a couple of times to get back the medium brightness.
Chupacabra
This has come up a number of times. While I agree that the Axis bases can be hard to spot, IMO this isn't a high-priority fix. ------------------ Soy super bien, soy super super bien, soy bien bien super bien bien bien super super. Fionn
Simply find the BMP file and change the colour yourself. It should take about 4 minutes to complete.
Fuerte
So it would have been already fixed if it was in a bmp. Doesn't anyone else have the gamma problem?
Ben Galanti
I think it's just a solid colored polygon, not one that is textured with a BMP (or PICT resourcefor us Mac folks ) As such, it's a hard coded color... At least, I haven't been able to find the base if it's in there. I'd love to be mistaken about this though...

sbg2112
I also brought this up recently, and also found that the bases are drawn by the engine -- there's no BMP to change. In other threads discussing this, I've suggested they let us specify the RGB values (the numbers for the colors) somewhere, somehow. I've also said that I'd be embarrassed to be complaining about this but I'm certain this would be quite trivial to address.
