Full squads show 3 men, half squads and squads with some casualties show 2 men, and crews and decimated squads show as 1 man. The bar at the bottom of the screen will tell you how many of the vehicle's crewman survived and are represented by that 1 man. And yes, that is to keep the cpu from doing unnecessary work to show things that don't add to the game. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
gaffertape Posted December 15, 2000 Share Posted December 15, 2000 Due to hardware limitations, BTS chose to model only every 4th soldier or so, even in your infantry squads. Check it out - Some US Squads have 12 men, but you will only ever see 3 represented. In the case of crews, you only ever see one soldier by default.
