Manx Posted June 4, 2000 Share Posted June 4, 2000 In my experience a tank will always try to switch to other armoured targets, as these usually pose the biggest threat. I don't know, but if a tank commander see's that the ememy is gaining the upper hand in a certain part of the battlefield he could decide that in order to stop an enemy breakthrough he should go for more strategically important targets, or maybe he can see that some of his infantry buddy's are getting pounded to hell and decides to help them out. Along with good LOS and crew experience, there are probably many reasons why a tank commander may not always seem to do what you think he should do.
