"Street Sweepers" mission bugged

Recommended Posts

This is the final mission of the Task Force Thunder campaign. I don't think it's an exaggeration to call the mission unplayable:

Multiple batches of enemies spawn in mid mission, either vehicles out in the open in areas clearly visible to the player from the starting position... or worse, infantry spawning into buildings which the player is not just able to have entered, but is indeed very likely to have entered. Since the lone, exposed house all the player's infantry starts the mission in is slated for a triggered/mission maker scheduled artillery barrage, you're rather likely to have shifted location to the first row of buildings ahead of you. After approximately 10-15 minutes, roughly two dozen enemy troops spawn into these buildings. This is repeated multiple times over the course of the mission, with enemy troops magically appearing en masse in buildings you are likely to be occupying.

Additionally, the player's second batch of reinforcements themselves spawn into ground likely to be directly occupied by enemy units.

As an aside, I'd say that the whole mission needs reworking to reach the quality expected of an official campaign. Having in excess of 500 troops and several dozens of vehicles on a map which is only somewhat larger than 500 by 500 meters is frightfully cumbersome and clumsy.
