John Kettler Posted December 16, 2021 Share Posted December 16, 2021 (edited) This is a 1953 British war movie about the British Airborne in the early part of the WW II. It's got some good combat scenes (others awful, sadly) and lots of war toys, including period warships, a rarely seen version of a rare bird already in war films, as well as not often seen MT and AFVs. The transition from early pattern headgear and uniforms to the familiar Airborne helmet and Dennison smock is shown, too. Things I never saw depicted regarding para training are prominently on display. Alan Ladd stars, and his leading lady is the gorgeous Susan Stephens. Since there are various aspects of this film pertinent to several different CMx2 games, am posting it here.
