No NTC QB maps?

Went to set up a quick battle there and selected NTC as the region but maps list is just the standard Germany region maps?

Can you not use NTC for QBs then?

The QB maps in general seem to have been a lower priority - the majority are CMRT or CMBS maps (which also share maps).

Having said that, *making* QB maps is pretty simple, at least for PBEM. I'm currently playing a QB on the master map which makes up the first mission of the Soviet Campaign.

Further, making the maps "NTC" is a single mod tag - every map can be an NTC map, if you want it to be.

ah wait a sec...I see now it changes the textures of the map etc. when you load into the mission

The NTC region selection changes EVERYTHING. Frankly, some QB maps play better as NTC region than they do in Germany region. Though you might want avoid city maps with cathedrals in the middle.

What i was hoping to find was the maps from the NTC campaign available as QB maps. Is this a thing?

I believe two of the NTC campaign maps currently exist as QB maps in Cold War. Converting and creating the others (or more) would be simple though.
