Is it because they are better equiped? Are there squads larger in number? Also.. Guest Big Time Software Posted September 5, 2000 Share Posted September 5, 2000 Yes, Waffen SS troops (by this point in the war) were better equipped than their Wehrmacht counterparts. However, as this thread has discussed, there is no inherent benefit of Waffen SS troops over any other type (German or Allied) other than this when they are all at the same level of Experience. Actually, the US squads pretty much kick ass over all others when everything else is equal.
