melb_will
Alright i've found my copy of CMBO and i'm playing it on a darkside computer for the first time. When I used to play on my mac the only mods I really used was Tom's Ardennes mod. But seeing as i'm on the darkside I downloaded CMMOS from CMHQ. I also download CMMOS_Terrain_RuleSets_v1.04 And a whole bunch of mods like dd's grass, magua's stuff, toms ardennes etc. My question now is how do I make them work. In CMMOS I have all the terrain tabs. I click on them and some have pictures and others are completely red circled. I click on one of the pictures and then click apply, but I don't seem to see any change in the game. Also not sure really how to add the extra mods I downloaded. Any help would be much appreciated Cheers Will
junk2drive
I'm not the expert on this. From the beginning if you haven't done anything, and as far as I have figured out: CMBO on your C:\ drive CMMOS in a folder. All your downloaded mods in a different folder. Start CMMOS. Select Beyond Overlord in the lower right dropdown. Click configure in the lower left. In the Configure window click the rule set tab. Click add at the bottom. Navigate to that mods folder and click the rule sets zip. Now you can click the mods tab. Click add and navigate again. Click the zips and wait a few seconds to make sure it worked. When finished, close the Configuration window. The main window should refresh and your mods should display. If not, you may have a bad download zip file or the ruleset may have a mistake in it. Post again with any problems.
melb_will
Ok i tried the above. When I am in the mod tab and I click add I select a zip file downloaded from cmhq and nothing happens. or I get an error saying this file is not properly formatted for use with CMMOS, i have tried with a number of files downloaded from cmhq. (i'll try a few more and see what happens) I also get the same result when I click add after click configure then rulesets scrolling to a mod that I have downloaded clicking on it and then clicking add. Well let you know after I try a couple more. cheers will

junk2drive
I got the CMMOS 4.05 from cmmods under MikeT in CMBO and his rule sets. Then all the mods under designer CMMOS at cmmods in the CMBO section. Someone else will have to help you with the older version. Are you sure the zips from CMHQ are CMMOS mods? AFAIK the mods from CMHQ will not work with CMMOS 4.05
Lane
Have been installing CMBO mods with CMMOS 4.05 Installed CMMOS on desk top folder installed rule sets for CMBO then d/l mods that have CMMOS on end of zip then copy or move zip to CMBO BMP folder then unzip inside BMP folder then you should be able to install your mod. with CMBB you could unzip the mod zip file outside CMBB say in desk top folder and it would auto install to you CMBB bmp folder. Hope this helps Lane
