Junk2drive, Thank's for the reply I saw MikeT's CMMOS new ver 4.05a and a rule sets zip file. but the rule sets did not have a auto installer. Is there a way to manual install those rule sets. I was wanting to install the US Army uniforms. Will go back over at cmmods and look around again Thank's again for your reply. Lane

Guys, Anybody still use CMMOS? I installed CMBO, and patch to 1.12. I would like to use CMMOS for CMBO I have it set up for CMBB. I Know that I can set up CMMOS Ver 4.03 and rule sets and add those mods for CMBO at CM HQ. but found a bunch of CMMOS at CM Mod base page like US and Allied uniforms. I found a newer CMMOS ver 4.05a? and some rule sets in zip forum but no installer? Is there a way to install new rule sets with out a self Installer. Sorry my spelling is not the best. Install complet Did a manual Install Made a CMB0 folder in C:\ program files\ and copy files from CD Disk to CMBO folder made a short cut to desk top. Seems to run ok. Now I can start adding some mod's Have a good one. Lane

I have CMBB installed on my new PC. Runs fine. Have had it about one year and 6 months AMD Athlon 64 processor 3000+ 1.0 GB Ram. ATI Radeon 9600 XT series. Try to install CMBO Ran into this error box. Internal Failure Error Number 0x80040707 :confused: has anybody seen this? I have MS fs9 installed CMBB and some some sub sims all installed and work fine. Thanks for any info or help Lane

I am learning about MCMMM. Were is the mod folder you ref to in the above post? :confused: I download a mod to a new folder on desk top. unzip it and look at bmps and readme. You are right it should unzip the mod in the target folder. Some how? I just could not get the path set up correct. Is the a way to get rid of all those uninstalled mod's the one's with the check box's I have 31 uninstalled mod's some of them are Mack PC files? Its a mess. have 8 installed ok. don't known how I got so many uninstalled mod's? Thank's for any info PS when you get 69 yrs old you get confusted easy. Lane

SBP, I just started using MCMM I have added about 5 mods. I have to copy or move the zip mod file to the MCMM Folder then I can unzip it and look at bmps. then look around and you will find add mod box. I belive the only time you would change a BMP name is to rename it to the orignial file name. Say you had a bmp number 1110.bmp and you had a 1110.bmpA or B file And you like the 1110A file you would rename the orignial to something like 1110.bmporg. and change the name of the 1110-A to 1110.bmp. Am I confusing you. But the main thing if found was I had to move the mod zip to the MCMM Folder for it to work for me. Lane

NCrawler, Yes I saw it at AstroCat. The older one. I may d/l it and compare it with CW's CMBB sound mod. Found a good MP3 to Wav converter. If you do some upgrades or changes I will look for it. Cheer's Lane

Good New's I found a easy to use converter for mp3 to wav. It's at www.smartaudioconverter.com by Smart Soft. Download ther free Trial version. Settings were easy to set up and had them changed in a few minutes to the correct wav format. Just to be on the safe side I backed up my wav folder. Thank's Junk2drive for your info and help. Lane

Thank's Redwolf, For the link. Sorry I wrote some error's in the post. I did a search on Yahoo, and found a nice audio converter at www.smartaudioconverter.com Smart Soft. Download the Free Trial Version. And was very easy to use convert CW's sound files to correct Wav Format 16bit,mono,44Khz. I think they should work I made a back up of my sound folder. I have CW's Sound mod downloaded from cmmods.com Captain Wackey. complet with a Trogen Horse Virus.? :mad: my Virus scanner Avast caught it. and sent to virus chest and delete it. I used this MPEG program on another pc a few years ago but I forgot how I did it. I want to change mp3 files to correct wav format, Could some body walk me through it.? I have windows XP SP2. which suite do I set up win2000 or W9x&XP? when you work this program are you Encoding,Decoding when you set up configure? Junk, I am about to give up. I downloaded MPEG 1.5 from a free download site. complet with a trogen Horse Virus which my AVast system caught it. and put it in virus chest and I delete Virus. My sound recorder program just works with wave files? I need somebody to walk me through the set up or guess I will forget it. Need to get away from this thing. Junk2drive, I know Junk it looks like it would simple. I have MGEG Suit 1.5 on my windows 98 PC and ran the program on CW sound program. like you a long time ago. Now I running it on XPSP2. I have the one running on PC2 win98.trying to match the settings. I have the CW mp3 files unzipped in folder on desk top. and can play them with windows media player. May try again to reinstall it again.? Wish I could fine one for dummys a simple one. Lane.

I bet I can find most of the mod's at Cmmods.com. Just look the right place. I am having fun playing the russian training scenarios. My new system is a AMD Athlon 64 approx 2.1 gh with a gh of memory. running a ATI Radeon 9600 XT. had it about year an half. Getting hooked playing CMBB again. Have been flying MSfs9 DC3airways.com still flying and playing CMBB again. Thank's again Lane

Have been installing CMBO mods with CMMOS 4.05 Installed CMMOS on desk top folder installed rule sets for CMBO then d/l mods that have CMMOS on end of zip then copy or move zip to CMBO BMP folder then unzip inside BMP folder then you should be able to install your mod. with CMBB you could unzip the mod zip file outside CMBB say in desk top folder and it would auto install to you CMBB bmp folder. I am having fun playing CMBO again I installed it on my new pc. I can play the large battles now. I have installed CMMOS ver 4.03 and all the rule sets far CMBO just added a few mod's so far Andrew fox's german uniform's Panzertruppen's buildings and night crawler's sound mod. nice sound's now. I have been playing the battle All or nothing 75 turns. played twice and Lost but having fun playing this battle. Has anybody took the German town or the secondary bridge. Got to add some more armor mods for the Allied side added the Churchill close support tank look's great Regards Lane

Junk2drive, I miss the CMMOD site I read were his wife was recoving from surg and he had a network card that need repair. May be he will be back on soon. Sure was a lot of mods at that site. I have all the mods on my other PC. There was one I liked called CMBB sound pack? Had real sounding weapions firing. Most of all mods folks made were posted at CMMOD site.
