vcents
Just a quick question: I am re-reading Ambrose's D-Day, and came across a section where a group from the 82nd took out two tanks with Gammons (pg 310). My question is...are these grenades modeled into the game or are the only infantry anti-tank weapons zooks, piats and satchel charges? Don't have the game (yet), and I haven't seen this weapon in the demo. [This message has been edited by vcents (edited 06-30-2000).]
CrapGame
They are in the game for certain forces (I think the Brit Airborne, although there may be others). I'm sure others on this forum can back me up with the details here. ------------------ CrapGame out
Preacher
I'm currently playing a scenario with American Paratroopers - some squads are armed with Gammon Bombs. Preacher [This message has been edited by Preacher (edited 06-30-2000).]
RudeLover
All stripes of Allied airborne seem to have access to Gammon bombs. And they work...I've taken out some MEAN german armor with them, details omitted to prevent spoilers. Suffice it to say that I replayed that turn over and over... WSCFan
I did the same thing RL! Had a halftrack go head-to-head at point blank range with an Airborne squad that had a Gammon. I kept replaying the soldier tossing it at the track and blowing it up
RudeLover
Yes, but this was no halftrack, though. This particular enemy was a Royal pain until my boys Gammon'd him... Jeez, I just got to be a member, too...not bad for a hardcore lurker. [This message has been edited by RudeLover (edited 06-30-2000).]
