coe
Will Windows 2000 or NT be a problem for Combat Missions?
Compassion
No and Yes (win2K ok, NT4 bad). Though getting a driver for your video card may take a while unless it comes with the OS. Guest Thomas William Davie
If someone is considering making the move to Win2K (and although it ships with some PC's, the standalone price is $319 US), you might want to check out www.3dfx.com and have a look at the Voodoo 4's and 5's, which will ship with native W2000 support. Pitkiller
I am using Win2000 with Voodoo3. Everything works fine now, after finding the right frequency for the monitor, until replacements arrive. Then the CM demo freezes up most, but not all, the time. I am hoping that this bug will be fixed prior to release. I have reported it, but never heard any acknowledgement back; yes I know they are busy finishing the game.
