junk2drive Posted February 27, 2005 Share Posted February 27, 2005 I am trying to get the Fading Hopes CMMOS4 mod to work with cmmos. I installed 4.05 in the folder with 4.03. When I open cmmos it still shows 4.03. First problem, cmmos doesn't seem to like other than C:\ locations. I opened the configuration with notepad and changed the cmbo exe location. It goes back to C:\ if I check it later. My games are on E:\ I had to extract all the rule sets zips from the FH mod zip, then add them all in the configuration rule sets window. junk2drive Posted February 27, 2005 Author Share Posted February 27, 2005 Ok, I uninstalled cmmos. Reinstalled the 4.05 only. Now I get the FH and Pac mods to appear in configure and mod screen. I cannot get cmmos to find my install on E: The configuration settings goes to C:\Program Files\CMBO which I don't have. junk2drive Posted March 5, 2005 Author Share Posted March 5, 2005 I am mad I reinstalled CMBO after having bmp problems that turned out to be file set mistakes. I moved all my cmmos4 zips to a folder. I installed cmmos 4.05a to that folder. Guess what? It deleted all my zips!!!! System Restore does NOT restore them, they are GONE.
