maxm2
In a current game, the camera behind my STUG could clearly see an enemy Hellcat, but only fired several seconds after the smoke cleared. Searching the archives, I found a post that explained that smoke columns are wider than they look. My question: how much wider? If we can't use the "eyeballing method, it makes it difficult. Can LOS be used to assess degree of visibility through semi-transparent stuff like smoke? And one last question: I've seen a "help" file mentioned: where would that be? ------------------ Max Molinaro
Doug Beman
Yup, that's what the LOS tracer is for. If you're saying this happened during a turn movie, then I guess you have to rely on the game engine to keep things square. DjB
