How can I change different variants in QB deck for redfor?

I'm curious, can I choose different BMP-3M variants within a formation?

 

For example, like 1st platoon = Arena, 2nd platoon = Shtora, and 3rd platoon = ERA or normal.

 

It seems I cannot change the statues of single vehicle or platoon within the entire formation. This is very inconvenient, because the single vehicle purchase is a bit more expensive than formation ones. 

 

Any good idea how to mix the different variants in formation during QB for redfor?

You could either:

 

-use the pre-set. The pre-set choice of forces might include all or several variants mixed toghether

 

-delete the vehicles of a platoon, then manually buy new ones as single vehicles (but be sure to keep them within the platoon)

I think that this should be patched in as a fix at some point, you can do this with US forces.

First option is not a good idea, since I want to directly choose the vehicle for deployment for my favor.

Second option is the only way that redfor can do, but single vehicle purchasing costs more.

You cant change between BTR-4 and BTR-70 in individual sections with the Ukrops either.

My impression is that having the entire formation configured one way is because that is the official way it is done.  By that I mean when the Russian army outfits a Battalion with vehicles they are all the same.  The US would most likely do the same but the APS option in this game is, if I recall correctly, considered to be an installed in theatre upgrade so their formations are not uniform to account for some variability in which vehicles have been through the process.  That is my impression anyway.
