Thunder
Hey, First of all thank you for this nice game. I already enjoyed Combat Mission Shock Force, but Black Sea is an awesome improvement to see and play! I noticed something though when I played Quick Battles: While playing as a defender, I noticed that I cannot turn trenches and barbed wire, but I am able to turn sandbag walls. Am I doing something wrong here? Are these just abstractions and work just fine without turning them? Also, I find it highly inconvenient that these defenses are scattered all over the map in the beginning of the mission. I think it would be better to pack them together like unit formations in the planning phase. What do you think?

LUCASWILLEN05
There is a trick to placig your trenches and barbed wire. The point you have to remember is the map is based on squares. Les say you have a couple of trench sections. Place the first one somewhere. Then place the second section at an angle to your first section. Observe what happens. This will probably require some experimentation on your part but you pretty son will get the hang of it. I suggest you start by using the small flat map you see when you open the scenario editor first. Then , when you are comfortable with thaty, graduate to experimenting on actual maps
Thunder
I just checked, they will snap together in the correct angle, thanks for the answer! Still think that defenses should be placed in one place in the planning phase, though.

Probably an issue for scenario designers to consider there.
womble
Probably an issue for scenario designers to consider there. He's talking about QBs. And he's dead right. The way formations are splattered all over your QB setup zones is a pain in the ass, and the way fortifications are presented is similarly so.
