Michael Emrys Posted September 6, 2014 Share Posted September 6, 2014 For me, if I spend more than about 20 minutes in one thread, I lose the "Go to first unread post" feature...except in the case that there has been a new post in a thread while I was reading. Very annoying to be sure and IMO a boneheaded coding decision. What I do in that case is go to the last post in any thread that I am interested in and backtrack until I find a post that I have previously read, and then work forward from that. But a reader shouldn't have to do all that stuff. If the number of new posts in a thread is short and/or I don't spend a lot of time writing replies, then the new posts in threads are still accessed normally.
