Axisgeneral72 Posted June 25, 2013 Share Posted June 25, 2013 Hello I just purchased SC2 and all the expansions but have 1 issue- Is there any way to enable video acceleration like in the SC2 global + new patch? I have a AMD Quad A8 2.5GHZ with 8gb of ram - Windows 8 and the game runs very sluggish. Aside from that the game is awesome! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Hubert Cater Posted June 25, 2013 Share Posted June 25, 2013 Hi AxisGeneral72, Glad to hear you are enjoying the game Video Acceleration is now a default setting in game so there is no longer an option to toggle this as it is always on. What you can try and do is to disable the map text if you are finding that scrolling and other mouse actions are sluggish. To do this, please go to OPTIONS->ADVANCED in game and toggle off the 'Show Text' option. Let me know if this helps, Hubert Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

However what made a %100 improvement was going to task manager while the game was running and doing the following. 1. Setting Affinity - Only have 1 core checked 2.
