The first turn is ended after deployment phase (manual or auto). Then the game asks to save the turn file. When loading the saved (aborted) turn, the same happens for Soviets. Their turn ends after deployment phase and the game asks to save the file. EDIT: Stupid me ! Seems both players have to exchange their deployment phase before starting to play.
