GreenAsJade
It is my experience that the CMx2 upgraders need the target folder and app to be named like this: /Applications/CM Battle for Normandy/CM Battle For Normandy.app IE the default. If you are like me and would like to have /Applications/CM Battle for Normandy/CMBN 200.app and upgrade that to /Applications/CM Battle for Normandy/CMBN 201.app TOO BAD. I know that BFC have tried to make this work nice and smooth, but Apple's installer software doesn't cooperate. I _think_ you may get away with changing the folder name, but why take chances? Before you upgrade your 2.00 CMBN to 2.01, make sure your 2.00 install it is named thusly: /Applications/CM Battle for Normandy/CM Battle For Normandy.app then the installer will work. After that you can name it what you like. IMHO, YMMV, JTTH etc. GaJ
Sarge
my son (who introduced me to CMBO) and i were playing till 2.0 was released. since then he's been unable to play (he has a MAC) despite an ongoing exchange with BFC tech support - i wonder if this little nugget has something to do with his (other MAC users) problem?
GreenAsJade
There's some remote chance it might be to do with it. What I've seen is that if you don't have it named this way, the update says it worked, but it didn't. You can tell, because if you look into the app (by right clicking on it, doing "Show Package Contents") and look in the Contents/Resources/Data folder, you will see that the upgrade .brz file isn't in there, if it didn't work. If it did work, you'll have Normandy v201.brz there. Cheers, GaJ
