QB Unit Options

Evening all, just a quick query...

In the Manual, on p52, it describes all the options available when setting up quick battles. However, under the heading "Units Options" there are three options which don't appear to exist in the game: "Type", "Quality" and "Max Fitness"

Am I missing something blindingly obvious, or is it a mistake in the manual?

Don't take them too literally, when buying units in quick battle, when clicking, say, a sherman, you can there and then change what model it is and what cannon it has. "Quality" means the crew properties, tank commander/squad leader bonuses, skill, and motivation.

Not quite what I meant.

The manual suggests that, when setting up a QB (before you even get to the unit purchase screen), you get additional options besides simply specifying whether you want Infantry, Mechanised, or Armour.

I started a thread on this same subject over a year ago. Turns out the manual is in error, which is unfortunate since it would be nice to have those options.
