Ludi1867 Posted January 15, 2012 Share Posted January 15, 2012 Hi I have not heard of any other games reporting a problem with Gold as yet, but I just experienced a CTD in a PBEM game (And it occurred in the same place twice, putting an end to this game for now). The error message displayed is "Failed(animate_replay_list):Segmentation violation". I have a saved game available, if that would help. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

To get around it for now, please load your PBEM game without viewing the replay and it should be fine after that and you'll be able to continue to view replays on subsequent turns. However, on the next turn I was forced to bypass the replay again when the game crashed again...so there have been CTD on two consecutive turns UNLESS the replay is bypassed. So, for me at least, the game has not returned to normal, and I have not been able to view replays on subsequent turns. I will be glad when you get the patch out! Wolfe 1759 Posted January 18, 2012 Share Posted January 18, 2012 FYI I also got a segmentation violation error when trying to start a newly downloaded version of Brute Force - using Excalibur 1.06 version of SC Global with Gold upgrade.
