Cantona66
Is it possible to freeze upgrades? so you can have for example tanks with different levels, i want to be able to use MPPs to strengthen the units but not upgrade them. It would be good for mikni camapigns, to be able to simulate both German panzer regiments with PZkw2 and 3 and them some heavy detachments with Tigers. Bill101
I think that the only real way at the moment would be to use different unit slots, but as the Tank unit is the only one with a target type of Tank this could require a bit of thought (i.e. manipulation of the stats). Glabro
Regiments? Detachments? Are you sure we're talking about Strategic Command here?

Glabro
Yes, i am sure Interesting, so you're planning for smaller or more detailed scenarios! Hopefully you can get things sorted out!
Cantona66
Yes, i have 2 smaller ones in the pipe now: -1940 Fall Weserubung -1941-43 North African campaign And they will have regiments, battalions, brigades and divisions. And them i am thinking about 1943 Fall Schweden, not sure about that one yet.
Glabro
I've long thought that taking the Stratcom engine that way might be an interesting new market alongside the grand strategy games, if you could link those scenarios to a dynamic or at least semi-dynamic (like PG or Panzer Corps, but hopefully with more optional routes) campaign. Of course, if it was possible to link operational maps along with the grand strategic game, that'd be great as well.
Cantona66
Hello again, i am not sure whta happened but i just started to playtest the campaign for the first time and the production queue, research and diplomacy buttons are greyed out and not chooseble. And the units are not upgradeble!
Bill101
If you open the campaign in the editor, click on Campaign; Edit Campaign Data; Advanced; then look under Preferences - are there ticks in the boxes for Research, Diplomacy and Purchases? If not then this would be the problem.
