CSS Posted November 22, 2011 Share Posted November 22, 2011 Both Stategic Command 1914 and Global Command are locking up about mid war , just playing the AI on large maps like Nupremal, and Brute Force. I have never really had this happen but it now seems to be a constant. The AI starts thinking and the locks up? Any suggestions? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
wlape3 Posted November 22, 2011 Share Posted November 22, 2011 Any error messages or does the computer just freeze? Can you bring up the task manager? Will the computer unfreeze after a period of time? The only significance of mid-war is the amount of units in play and the calculation load. CSS Posted November 25, 2011 Author Share Posted November 25, 2011 Yes task manager will come up , I have a high end system, but mid game I know turns can take up to 10-20 minutes, but I leave it on overnight as it gets stuck on thinking. Over the past months I had been playing big mods like Nupremal's,CalmBTS and BF with computer turns ranging from 10 to 20 minutes but it suddenly jumped to 30 -60 minutes in November. Can't even make my may into 1943 like I used to ... so these mods are now unplayable. The only change I can think of was the new patches applied then. How about you CSS?
