No need. These chips are produced in the millions. Only problem is that much of that happens on Taiwan. And the DoD seems to be committed to that already.
One of the understated successes of the Biden administration is the commitment to restore chip manufacturing back in the U.S.
"President Biden announced a deal with Intel that will give the chipmaker up to $8.5 billion in grants and another $11 billion in loans to build semiconductor plants in four states — the biggest project to date in his push to bring chips manufacturing back to America."
Biden is giving Intel $8.5 billion for big semiconductor projects in 4 states
"The US government plans to give $6.6 billion to the world’s biggest manufacturer of semiconductor chips to help it build three factories in Arizona as part of President Joe Biden’s efforts to secure the supply of advanced chips."
Biden to give Taiwan’s TSMC $6.6 billion to ramp up US chip productionIt'll take time for these facilities to be built and equipped. As well to train up a pool of skilled workers, but it is in the pipeline. Hopefully, we're in front of the curve and not trying to play catch up with a peer adversary.

One of the forgotten battles/campaign is probably the Lorraine Campaign early September 1944 to March 1945.
Patton had to face some hard battles here, Arracourt tank battle ,Metz sieging, and everywhere in Lorraine.

There was an attempt at an Arracourt campaign/scenario pack, it kind of fizzled out.

i understand it also like this, I think BFC Matrix and Steam have to work on commmon accord and posting original pictures of BFC only,... from a couple of months it was also a "mistake" of a wrong picture, showing russian troops for Red Thunder in camo uniforms...Â
Me savvy! I don't know how communications/marketing are handled on the Matrix/Slitherine side, I would think (or hope) that at least they'd ask for BF's approval before publishing content online - or at the very least have a proof reader knowledgeable on the subject glance at it.

Nice ang good but, if BfC is the developers why the anounce dont appear on the BFC webpage ?
Just a detail perhaps but on the Matrix page appear
>>IMPORTANT: This content requires the base game Combat Mission: Battle for Normandy >> ok
and the previous DLC Commonwealth Forces >>ok
and Market Garden>>ok
 and Vehicle Pack>>okÂ
and Battle Pack 1 on Steam in order to play. >?
is there something different or not compatible with the bp1 from BFC and bp1 from Steam ?
I think the information on the Matrix Info tab could use a little clarification. It most likely means that if you bought the aforementioned DLCs on Steam then you'll need to purchase BP2 on Steam as well. Conversely, if you've purchased everything from BF's store front you'll need to order BP2 from BF directly.

NVM, was already posted earlier.

Outstanding! I'm looking forward to it!

The long wait is over! BP2 has a real date!
Time to get into mindset, I'm re-reading Joseph Balkoski's Utah Beach.

I haven't seen this posted. The U.S. has purchased 81 Soviet-era aircraft (including Mig-31, Mig-29, Mig-27, SU-24) from Kazakhstan. It is likely that these aircraft will find their way to Ukraine after enhancements or as spare parts.

Finally found a breakdown of the Ukraine aid package. The article is from February of this year, so should be pretty close.
$60.2 Billion overall, broken down:
- Â $20 Billion for replenishment of equipment and munitions sent by DOD to Ukraine.
- $14 Billion for Ukraine to purchase weapons and equipment from U.S. firms.
- $15 Billion for U.S. support including military training, intelligence sharing, increased presence in Eastern Europe, and other activities.
- Â $8 Billion direct budget support for Ukraine.
- $3.2 Billion )1.6 Billion for economic development, $1.6 Billion to bolster air and maritime defenses in and around Ukraine)

It looks like now it is Europe's turn to pull together an aid package.
"A crucial test for Europe will come on Monday, when the EU's 27 foreign ministers gather in Luxembourg to plan future military aid for Kyiv. Ukraine's foreign and defense ministers are scheduled to join the discussion virtually."

It looks like getting aid to Ukraine will follow through quickly. President Biden has stated that he will sign the bill as soon as it is on his desk.
'... “we have a very robust logistics network that enables us to move material very quickly,” Ryder told reporters this past week. “We can move within days.”The Pentagon has had supplies ready to go for months but hasn’t moved them because it is out of money. It has already spent all of the funding Congress had previously provided to support Ukraine, sending more than $44 billion worth of weapons, maintenance, training and spare parts since Russia’s February 2022 invasion.'

It's currently being reported that the House has passed the Ukraine aid deal 311-112.

Recently Rep Greene has been babbling the "Ukraine is Nazi" Kremlin talking point lately in her crazed attempt to help out Putin. She got her butt handed to her in Congressional testimony:
https://thehill.com/homenews/house/4601264-moskowitz-confronts-greene-on-ukraine-nazi-remarks/
And a Dem was kind enough to point out that Greene has openly embraced white supremacy (aka American Nazism):
It's always entertaining to watch real Nazis say we shouldn't fund fake Nazis in their fight against real Nazis.
Steve
And CNN's Erin Burnett is calling her out for being the talk of Russian State TV:
Here's what Russian media is saying about Marjorie Taylor Greene's push to end Ukraine aid
'The Gipper' has to be rolling in his grave to know there are GOP members, like MTG, who are opposing the very type of bills he would've support - and being congratulated by our enemies for it.
A portion of the Ukrainian aid package is earmarked for expanding and modernizing US muntions production:
"The Biden Administration has proposed that $3.1 billion of a much larger Ukraine aid bill be spent on munition production and modernization. "

A good interview with a UAF Bradley commander. I don't think it was posted here, or I couldn't locate it.
Here he describes what makes a good crew function, somewhat CM related of veteran versus green crews:

What is y'alls opinion of pre-planned artillery not in setup zones but on routs of advance? For instance a road through the woods that you are planning on going down or suspect the enemy is going to use to advance to your location? Not exactly 'recon by fire' but could be a tactic to break up ambushes or nail possible convoy routs. Would that be considered too 'gamey'?
The situation I'm considering is a ME in which a small town is the central battle zone. So wouldn't it be wise to blast all the roads into the town with pre-planned artillery?
I regard pre-planned bombardment of choke-points, fords and bridges as part of doing good map analysis and would expect an opponent to do the same - it is fair game. So, I would consider it to be sound tactics.

It isn't under Falaise's name: CMBN : Terrain Vegetation
But as mentioned above, this is strictly for the Norman countryside. It wouldn't be useful for Eastern Europe.
-
Thank you, Mr X! I've been enjoying your work, you've done an excellent job in putting this campaign package together and it is much appreciated!
I do hope that you'll once again turn your attention to CMRT after you've finished the other projects on your plate.

Sounds a lot like something the evil orange man said years ago. You can argue about his motivation, but not the accuracy of the statement.
Well, A broken clock is correct twice a day!
This war has exposed the weakness of the U.S. supply chain in a peer to peer conflict as well - 155mm shells, Javelins, microprocessors, etc. And like the European's we're looking into ways to shore up our weak points.
I can see why Xi isn't too happy with Vlad, he surely doesn't want to see both the EU and the US ramping up when his own economy is in a slump. -

The M18 is a recoilless rifle, you'll find the info on page 8 under the U.S. Special Weapons section. The effective and maximum range are within the specs I have for it, so it isn't worth quibbling over.

I think I spent an hour just moving the camera around the master map! A really nice piece of work!

I copy paste it to campaign folder it always work maybe battlefront hacked my account already because sometime i am talking too much haha
Well, anything is possible!
I don't have the Steam version, so I can't independently verify installing it under Steam. Past experience usually leads to the problem being some type of path issue, accidentally placing a file in a subfolder or similar. -

Me too! Me too! It could almost climb anything, not fast and squirrelly to drive especially on twisty roads, but a lot of fun.
