  1. I have told about a shoot out I was in on the first page and during that I honestly have no idea if my bullets killed anyone but in that engagement I was engaged with a terrorist group so I didn't feel any bad for them, In fact in the moment I was just shooting at figures and muzzle flashes and I did not realize I was hit until afterwards but my vest saved me. Shoot outs arent scary when you see your comrades rushing up into a defensive line in front of you it actually gave me more of a boost, What is scary is if you lose a limb and have to live without it...

  2. There's Russian troops where your government says there are zero Russian troops, with ethnic Russians driving Russian military hardware, in a war against Ukrainian nationals.  There was disorder, but there wasn't war in the Ukraine until your country brought it.

If Russia was serious about peace, it wouldn't have sent in Russian terrorists, it wouldn't have sent in tanks, it wouldn't have killed a few hundred Dutch people in the wrong plane at the wrong time.  If you think that's the way to treat a brother, I feel honest fear for your siblings.

Brother let me tell you, with how low oil has gotten the exchange rate actually demands a lot more blood per drum.  Like a lot.  I'm seriously running out of improvised third world children at this point.

Ok you guys are messing with me lol good one actually got me :)

  3. No, see, I'm all about blood for oil and world conquest.  I salivate at the chance to show Ecuador who is it's daddy.  You're the one from Russia claiming there's no invasion despite by your own admission Russian soldiers in the Ukraine.

My objection isn't military adventurism, it's lying about it and hypocrisy.  Which is something Russia is certainly pretty good at.

Are you serious im hoping your joking because blood for oil is sick and not humane saying this and trying to argue against Russia being in Ukraine makes no sense what so ever you don't like it because their lying? what the heck? Yes special forces are there providing training, Most of them give tactics. I mean if Russia really was there wouldn't Ukrainian offensive be stopped already, I can give you a estimate on how a operation in eastern Ukraine would look like if you would like, I have seen strategic offenses made by officers and have a really good idea on how our army works.

  4. Yeah I hate when people complain about invasions too.

Sometimes you've just gotta invade now and then to make sure you know how, ya know?

No man that is sick you don't invade a country unless it has invaded you or is causing harm to you, And while doing that it doesnt mean you can go kill thousands up to millions of people. Just take care of the threat and your done.

  5. Well I am sorry, I don't respect your president he is a liar by his own admission and the instigator of all the violence that has led to 5000 dead. Putin however is not Russia anymore than Bush is America. We had many many protests about the US invasion of Iraq. It is time the Russian people distanced themselves from Putin's policies. Russia has absolutely no right to inject men and weapons into Ukraine. You don't like the current government, then deal with that on a political state to state basis, not via a proxy war. The separatists do not represent the people of Donbass, the failure of novorussiya proved that so much that even Putin has dropped the term.

Putin has dropped the term because if he uses the word Novorossiya America and EU will look down on him even more then they are now, Putin has helped Russia compared to 90s our situation is like we are already where we want to be, But sanctioning Russia because it supports Novorossiya is not fair, Why not sanction NATO over Kosovo or over Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan? Many innocent lives have been lost their too. But im sure America is the dream of the world that is why it can police, And destroy countries without anyone saying a word.

  6. Hey guys about Javelin missile system, I'm sure the CEP isnt accurate enough to hit the Turret of a T-90A or T-72B3, But most likely hit the front or the engine (which will most likely lead to explosion or full mobility kill if hit on engine) Which either way is bad but is the CEP of this weapon taken into account is a question I would like to know not about its effective because Im pretty sure engine block on fire is basically tank dead but just asking.

  7. I don't want to be offensive but you have offended me, you have no right to talk about my country you have no clue about my people nor have you ever been to my country and you are talking, If you really do care about Ukraine so much COME to Donetsk Peoples Republic and see for yourself. What you wrote passed the line and I will not just read it and say "let me just ignore" I didn't serve my country so that you can disrespect my president and my country. Russia and Ukraine are brothers, I would die for Ukraine just like I would for Russia, BUT what I will not die for is those fascists which are running Ukraine and killing and shelling people WHY? you ask? Oh sorry, sure you can tell whats going on from Ukraine's post and "independent" news sources, And act as if you know it perfectly... I know very well about politics countries can do but going as far as to saying Russia is responsible for everything in Ukraine PASSES the limit. If anything the one responsible for Ukraine is the EU supporting the maidan protest and giving money to Ukraine to "rebuild" when Ukraine's economy is getting worse every day this war continues. I wonder where that money goes to? Oh sorry Poroshenko uses it to rebuild his country, And you guys do know that he is a billionaire right? I mean if all this is not obvious then listening to Jen Psaki is probably better. This will likely be my last post about Ukraine on here as this game is made for fun not arguing sensitive topics. And arguing about the army's in the game and comparing them is way better and would lead to less anger being thrown around.

Topic was about strategies and arguing about if a freaking Oligarch being good and that Russia is destroying its own ethnic people is not a strategy related to this game. Unless a DLC "lets destroy Ukraine" with "Putler" being the main general you play as.

  8. I shouldn't even mention it, because my time in the service was nothing compared to most of you, but I did spend eight years in a reserve MASH unit, starting in 1983. Mostly what we did was go out in the in the field and practice putting up GP large and GP medium tents. I got out shortly before Desert Storm. The unit I was in did get called up and went to Iraq. I think the army has decommissioned all MASH units now, in favor of taking the wounded to larger field hospitals. I suppose transportation is so much better now that there isn't much need to have a MASH unit tagging along close to the front.

No you should mention it, 8 years of service is not a joke :)

  9. Every frontline motorifle company would be issued about 3 MANPADS (about 1 soldier in each platoon would be trained to use them, though not officially assigned an "operator" position) with several missiles (each BMP can carry up to 2) depending on the severity of the threat. That is in addition to the 27 MANPADS in one of the AA missile batteries of the brigade's AA missile-artillery squadron. The main difference between them is that the AA battery MANPADS squads are tied into brigade's AD network, being aware about the air threat situation and ready to engage enemy aircraft in advance, whereas the MR companies' MANPADS are for the last-ditch self-defence when the enemy aircraft are in direct LOS.

Given that there is a battalion tactical group - sized force present in this AAR, it is very strange indeed that it has no MANPADS at all. Also, the 2 2K22 'Tunguskas' should probably be backed up by 2 9K35 'Strela-10' systems (which could utilize their amphibious capability and stealthy IR target acquisition to deploy even further towards the frontline than the 'Tunguskas').

Yeah you're right mostly, But the manpads are now Igla-s and the new Verba manpad which came out recently is also being issued. The game models the baseline T-90A without a RWS they got a few mess ups here and there... But its normal still a good game, Also its up to the scenario designers what weapons they get.

  10.

Well, when you believe what Russian media tells you then you're bound to come to this conclusion. Personally, I've not read ANYTHING that Kerry or Paski have said. I read a wide range of sources of information, including Russian and Separatist. I also have a very good understanding of economics. Oh, and have I mentioned that I expected this to happen many years before it did? Did Kerry or Paski tell me that too?

    Steve

Reading Ukraine's post is not better then that because like I said they are pro EU and will do everything they can to demonize DPR.

  11. Well, I've got to hand it to Steve, he's got the counterpoint arguement down pat! ;)   If we were to codify these, this one would go under the "change the subject/divert attention" heading.

Nice job bringing up the NATO/US arms Vladimir Tarasov, people bit on it.  However, you forgot to respond to Vanir's excellent post above.  Where did those tanks come from and who could be driving them?  Interested in your response.

If you think Putin is stupid enough to send 2012 model T-72B3s to Ukraine then you are probably full of it. I must have missed his post I'll respond to it here, As you know eastern Ukraine also has bases right? Where T-72s and T-64s are located at? But you probably think "Putler" will send in tanks to a zone with a huge population that has cameras. It is alright you guys think whatever, I'm planning on going to Donetsk again maybe this time I'll volunteer for other jobs too instead of helping out spreading water and food.

UA Army using Nato weapons > USA & EU gave weapons to the rioters to fuel the conflict. That sounds like Fox News/RT logic.

    By the way

Wouldn't it make more sense to send AKs? Same ammo cartridge as regular troops; weaker/no claims could be made to accuse them of it; it would also be cheaper, I suppose. A little obvious isn't it?

Also I highly doubt the UA would store them at the new terminal. With undusty ammo and dusty guns I have to add, also a lack of serial numbers etc, if you have better sources that aren't fabricated please share them with us   :)

I didnt say they gave them weapons they just fueled the riots
