WHAT!!???
Baneman gets a Cobetco original character in his thread but I get nothing in mine? I am hurt. Baneman, I hope bratwurst girl gets helmet hair.
heh i can only make these so fast, and they have all been reactionary. But if you want one Bil maybe slip a good reference photo of a one of those Sherman (flame) ball mounts (( I figure they look different since the OT-34 and Crocodile have different mounts for flamethrowers. A real one would be nice, but i cant find any good photos. But a nice pic of Battlefronts model will work too)) and give me your opinion on the humble Corn Dog.

You spotted the Leopard 2 Baneman Ported into the game from shock force while no one was looking eh? thats what the hellcats are after.

Aaaagh, I just can't keep quiet about this - LOOKIT THE NEW FLAME ANIMATIONS IN THE GAME!!!!
Whew, I feel better now.
Oh yeah, would you look at that. do the Flame throwers still fire orange juice though?

Opse, maybe i shouldn't have cracked a joke in German like that. <takes notes.> Ummm my Imgur Account has everything i've done (err finished) in the last month or so.
that link is here: http://imgur.com/user/wjenison/submitted just a warning, might be some inappropriate stuff there too.

"Driver Urda and Hull Machine Gunner Goldstein were also sent to Stalag XIIA, but they were not given the full rights of a prisoners of war. Goldstein had been identified as a Jew by his dog tags, and a letter in his pocket from his mother, reminding him to observe the Jewish holiday, Hanukkah. Andrew Urda was also identified as a Jew because of his dog tags.
Goldstein and Urda narrowly escaped execution. The were treated as slave laborours, brutally overworked and starved. When they were liberated near the end of the war, the two severely emaciated captives spent many months recovering in US Army Hospitals. Andrew Urda never fully recovered from his mistreatment in captivity. He died in 1979. Ivan Goldstein’s health was eventually restored. He moved to Jerusalem."
Jeez, sometimes i forget this stuff happened, and its now going to haunt me every time i take prisoners while playing an SS scenario.

Why? If I may hazard a guess as to Gnarly's confusion, it's based on the excellent character and quality of your illustrations. I'm certain no denigration was intended.
Yep, i knew that. my further comment was meant to be a light hearted absurdity. but now that i read it again it sounds like i felt insulted or was on the defensive. sometimes i wish their was a written system in the English language to denote tone.

yes? why? is there some sort of no anime girls rule here on the forum that i've broken? because i've broken it 3 times so far.

thanks all, i was hoping there was a faster way then i had been doing. but it looks like as i feared it all comes down to my success in the scouting phase.
maybe silly art tomorrow.

Off topic it would be really nice to have access to Trucks filled with Mortar Ammo in the supply platoons.

...that, and their utility for blowing up enemy infantry behind fortifications. Get one in a window and that should stop all that firing... Think how RPGs are used.
That tends to be how i used Panzerschreks in CMBN.

Why it comes from Die Wurst Essen Pause, Page 5 of Banemans AAR for FInal Blitzkrieg. beyound that? ummm i Think Georgia-Pacific made the paper i drew it on.

No drawings today, just looking for some wisdom from those who are more knowledgeable.
since i have no military experience and my own historical knowledge tends to dwell in 13th century Europe, i tend to treat Combat Mission like a puzzle game. (gasp how could he) i always have a challenge on hand in the fantastic scenarios Battlefront has put together and i have learned a lot, as i can now approach most balanced scenarios I've never played and cobble together some sort of win. BUT one challenge alludes my grasp. the Anti Tank Gun! i have No idea how to take out these puppies in an attack and always lose 2-3 tanks to them. my strategy thus far has been either to use mortar fire (tends to be direct fire) to have the crews abandon their weapon, or path around them (not always an option) but i feel like their is a better way of finding and eliminating their threat. any suggestions?

Well not every vehicle, no Grant/Lees, that'd be silly anyways. *dreams of a CMFI vehicle pack*

Do those new Gebirgsjäger have g33/40s? or just k98s? eh either way mountain troops are going to be fun.

I think (but am not sure) if Gustav Line is still relevant, light snow has a visibility range past 500m, so it doesn't look too restrictive for Bil's rough riders. Baneman on the otherhand? i duno. the visibility may kick in if he decides he wants to perch the Jagdtiger on a hill and provide long range overwatch, but i don't think that's what he has in mind anyways.

I look forward to seeing you use those Armed jeeps. mine always have ummm... accidents.

Without proper support i think his infantry will have a hard time advancing that final distance to the VLs when being opposed by numorus enemy tanks (even if he has alot of troops)...But as Pak40 pointed out the hellcats and jacksons might not have much HE wich might help Baneman some (but they do have machineguns, don't they ?)
hellcats and Jacksons don't have machineguns. well the jackson B's have a ball mount, which is useless.
