  1. If you unload a Bradley, split off two men from the infantry squad, and load them in the Bradley, that means there for four men in the Bradley. There is not another gunner, there is one gunner in the Bradley both before and after the squad adds two men.

    I doubt these additional two men benefits sighting anymore than an additional two men anywhere would.

  2. Speaking of the mile, all the E-7s I knew were in 75-76-77, and they were all heavily hung, front line hard core infantrymen. Some of them, I didn't talk back to out of straight up fear. I don't remember any bad knees, and I don't remember a single one of them that was the least bit out of shape until I got to Campbell. That was where I saw the first E-7 that didn't look like an E-7 should oughta look.
