  1. Yeah me too. and not only have Battlefronts staff been great but this very forum is rich with connections, troubleshooting, ect. I ordered my games via download & Mail..Got the software in 3 days...However I do complain about CMA not including a glossy map of afghanistan and a hard copy manual besides the pdf file....I like the goodie deluxe bags. I know nit costs money at printers but Ill pay the extra for my goody bag. CMSF had the chart mousepad, map, guide and amazing game. However CMA is a wonderful evolution...I don't care how many passwords it takes to get it hooked into my mainframe....
  2. old news or not, the working fireports on the BMP's in CMA is news to me! I agree that we should have more documenation than we do, heck even a map with the game but Im being greedy! Ha! I keeping finding new layers and dimensions to this game. Its unbelievable. Fantastic Tactital game! Its replay value utterly stupendious. Like for example, Im about to go do a mission right now so I can try out those firing ports!
  3. Having completely emmersed myself into CMA I found several decent reads on the war however the one that should be either packaged with or advertised beside CMA on the battlefront homepage is "THE BEAR WENT UP THE MOUNTAIN" an excellent tactical study of many different actual firefights between Russia and Afghan Insurgency, the battles reprucussions, suggestions and tactical maps are there plus, editors comment further enrich the read. This is the perfwct handbook for CMA, Of course the next and final frunze study "The Soviet-Afghan War: How a Superpower Fought and Lost by Michael A. Gress, Lester W. Grau" is the huge holy Bible of the entire operations, its a little more expensive than the average book but a grognardians wet dream!! topographical studies, weapons, weapons ballistics,After action, ect ect its ALL there!! Currently also reading: +The Great Gamble: The Soviet War in Afghanistan by Gregory Feifer +The Hidden War: A Russian Journalist's Account of the Soviet War in Afghanistan by Artem Borovik Now Im back to the library and its my move WEGO!!
