Works fine for me. I had to find a video driver for W8 and that took a bit of work. But if you are getting a new unit, it shouldn't be a problem.
What GPU will it have?
I installed a freeware start button, Classic Shell, and never go to the Metro UI.

Nothing better than a little one on your lap, bottle feeding with one hand, mouse in the other. Well maybe breast feeding is better...

In your game folder is a folder Mod Tools. In there is a readme that explains it all.

The way I remember it was never. Too much work to get things into the "old" version of CMx2 and a new CMSF2 is planned for the "near" future set in the Ukraine.

For a good example of how it looks, load Tactical Vignette 98-3 Attack in Brandenburg.
Thanks for all the work on this.

I have Rainmeter desktop items in the task bar. Moving them away from the area that the menu button sits over solved the problem.
-
Do you need to own all the modules and CMA to make it work?
-
When I try to click the menu button in the UI, the game minimizes to the task bar.

Cheers George
I haven't played much of anything this summer. I do plan of getting back into this now that winter is coming.

Why does it need the NATO module? I was under the impression that the Red did not get anything after the Marines module.

That fixed it. Updated to 1.32

I found a page at AMD for this series and W8
http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/catalystlegacywin8.aspx
I will install this and report.

I installed W8 upgrade to XP, then tried installing CMSF. I get an OpenGL error, update your drivers, message.
I have a biostar MB with the integrated AMD/ATI HD 4200 at 512mb shared.
As I have read elsewhere, AMD is not longer supporting 2000, 3000, and 4000 series. When I looked at AMD for drivers, there are none for W8 for older GPUs.
Before I buy a card, anyone know which legacy driver will give me OpenGL?

Ok, that one bit me once so thought I would suggest it.

I think there is a different log on for the two databases. Try logging off CMBN and on to CMSF.

Now that you have an Android version, any chance of a linux version?
Maybe sold through the ubuntu Software Center?

I'm in the business and we still call them walkers. Front wheels are not standard and the RX must specify them. 4 wheel walkers are called Rollators. They usually have a seat and hand brakes. Handy for those long lines waiting for flu shots, casino buffet lines, and future govt health care...

Worked for me. Thanks

I had a problem with elicense and zonealarm. Did you try turning off your firewall and antivirus?
-
Do you have ZoneAlarm?

For the next BN add on, you will need to buy the upgrade for BN that makes your BN into 2.0

Market Garden and then one more with addtional units.

Never send anything to the SO.
Always answer with one of these:
No, that's not a new game, I've it for years.
I signed up for a beta of a new game.
It is freeware.
It's a mod.

This fellow had problems with Intel 4000 and CMFI and CMBN.

W8 shouldn't be the problem.
Classic Shell has all kinds of options including how the system starts and what the windows key does.
