  1. Hi Eddie,

I suffered a major defeat as I was very cautious... the right flank hurt me bad. ( I was confused at first I believe I am by playing blue as soviets)

I did have fun; I will try again. You obviously put a lot of effort into it--- a good job. I'd love to see your smaller mission as this mission is larger than I'm comfortable playing. Thanks!

Yeah, I have the same experience. I selected Soviet but it turns out to be Afghan troops. Instead, I should choose Afghan to get Soviet.

  2. Hi, does CMBN has any funtion of towing AT or Flak? Maybe I have not discovered it yet. If there is none, how about adding such feature?

When I was playing CMBN, if my AT was spotted, I can do nothing to tow my AT efficiently but looking at it to be destroyed by mortar or artillery. And when I need to redeploy AT forces on the map, it seems not possible either.

  3. I tested other IFV in CMA, and CMSF. They don't work like BMP-1D. And another problem is that if the soldiers in BMP-1D use up their ammo, they cannot reload using the ammo in the vehicle!

Has Battlefront ever concerned about the usage of the firing ports on IFV?

Is it the half-production on some models, or is it a bug?

If IFV can use the firing ports, that can be amazing.

  4. I don't think a small company would have any hope of making a profit in the Mainland China market where games are instantly pirated. I heard a interview with a Taiwan based boardgame representative the other day and even board games are pirated within a couple of weeks and sold much cheaper than the licensed copy in the PRC. Steve also mentioned once that Combat Mission is exactly the opposite of what the Japanese market wants.

That said, I put my thinking cap on. Aparently Snowball will be doing the Eastfront when the WWII engine matures and I don't see another niche for a Eastern European company but maybe some Spanish developer would be interested in doing the Spanish Civil War. Wild speculation over.

35USD actually is too expensive for people in PRC. If there is 35RMB Chinese version, I think most people will turn to the licensed copy.:)
