  9. This a historical rendition of the British attack on Italian forces in Libya. Ultimately, it set the pace for the remainder of the British participation in the Western African Campaign. The operation lasted from December , 1940 through February 8 1941Operation Compass was the first operation in the West Africa Campaign and a resounding success to the British 7th Armored Division under Field Marshal Archibald Wavell. Commander Rodolfo Graziani fought a heroic battle with his outgunned 10th army, but eventually had to submit to the British forces in Western Egypt. November 18, 1941 through December 30, 1941"Operation Crusader" is the name given to the final days of the siege of Tobruk where the British 8th Army attempted to relieve the garrison of soldiers that had held a perimeter of defense around the Libyan city of Tobruk. The Allied forces led by Lt. Gen Alan Cunningham were ultimately turn back, but Rommel's use of the Africa Special Purpose Division and the 21st Panzers prevented him from advancing into Egypt until December 23 by which time the Afrika Korps was at its weakest strength and headed directly toward Montgomery's forces at El Alamein.   14. Notice :This is a stand alone battle of the El derjine Campaign. That battle is only played, if the first battle objective of the dam's bridge at the village of Farani Rach is not taken. In order to play the second campaign's battle it has to be won or the campaign will be finished.Situation: Enemy Forces.^Following the fail attempt seizure of the dam's bridge near Farani Rach village, the enemy has reacted strongly. It had been planned, that if that was the case, we should let him take El Derjine, since it would be less costly to attack its forces on open grounds rather than in the hills and ravines grounds of Farani Rach, not suited for an attack by our mechanized force. Amatter of fact, this morning, Air CAS has been able to strafe in the open a mechanized force of tanks and BMP's, immobilizing it near Hassi El Frid Hamlet and destroying the road bridge near it. Right now, we are probably facing some troops that escaped this morning strafing and probably 2 Companies of the 1st Mechanized Battalion in defense in and around El Derjine. S2 has indication that they could be reinforced by one or two tanks platoons.Regiment S2 warned the HQ staff and the General, that Anti Tank defense are probably entrenched and or deployed on the high grounds covering the access to El Derjine.Troops and tanks deployment are to be made with that knowledge.^Situation: Friendly ForcesThe Regiment has been deployed on its staging area, prior to move to its attack and pre-assault...   16. This is a very small scenario depicting a small group of soldiers who become isolated after an attack on their convoy. This is based on a real event. US casualties were: 2 KIA (driver and gunner), 2 WIA (both passengers; 1 critical, the other returned to duty in 72 hours). Insurgent casualties were: ~4 KIA, 8-10 WIA. More...
