What an opt out!! HPS simulations are updating most of their games with patches for any Vista problems that are reported / encountered. Where updates are not made they provide clear and concise information ( including at least one download ) as to how to deal with Vista problems. Their homepage has a LARGE banner re Vista problems which links to the aforesaid information. THAT is customer service! HPS obviously value their customers and wish to increase the sales of their games. Unlike other companies ( battlefront are not alone - Matrix do so too ) they do not appear to have any discontinued or out of date games. Perhaps this is because they play the games themselves in their spare time & they need to update re new PC platforms to be able to continue.

Can anyone tell me why it is considered Spam to post 4 identical messages ( baring game title ) in 4 different forums? Why should I consider that everyone who reads say the Combat Mission 1 forum also reads Combat Mission 2 & 3 & Tech support? If this is Spam, it seems to me to be sensible Spam. So why can't some people get their heads around this logic and quit complaining about such a petty thing.

Because you have been put on my ignore list. It may not be as good as yours but it is the default forum one. Unlike you, I am not weird enough to want to "import" one or conceited enough to trash someone else's. Your spelling is poor too. I am suprised they let you stay here considering the forum policy on posting ( which you must have agreed to in order to be here), and are plainly breaking. And you have the gall to complain about "spam".

I was just covering all of the bases. In my view/experience not everyone reads EACH disscussion area. Why moan at common sense? Not much of a suprise I suppose. It'll hurt any future sells though! Indeed, why does something that's becoming obscure continue to be sold? Noted. I have read them. Just trying to ascertain the scope of the problem. ( If you have any of these games and you use Windows Vista your comments would be particularly useful. ) 2. Does anyone know if Battleground (?) are planning to update these games to make them Windows Vista compatable if they need it?
