  1. In the battle ASMAR Crossing I have seen mortars that can be called in by Combatant HQ units, I have had a look in editor but can not figure out how the designer did this, but it is possible. If anyone can tell me how to get artillery called in by other units than FO Teams, it would be much appreciated.

  2. hi is this campaign playable as 2 player PBEM, I have only found one mini campaign that is, that’s all, if it can be played WEGO then I will test it, but it will take a while, otherwise I can't, as I only play human opponents in CMSF.

    I know it is a lot of work balancing forces but I wish more people would design balanced 2 player campaigns as there is a serious lack of them in the File Repositories. I just think it would be cool to play a campaign against a reliable opponent and have a balanced score at the end of it.

  3. hi there are BRDM2's avalible in game which are equiped with AT-5B Spandrel missiles, i was just wondering if these are modeled in CMSF or do they use specifications of another missile, used in CMSF, because i have not been able to find info on this missile in manual:confused:, as all it gives is troop portable ATGM launcher's info only.

  4. Hi the saying goes "no news is good news" but when waiting for British Module it definitely does not apply. I think it should be changed to "any news is good news", so please BFC can we have an update on progress and maybe an up to date TO&E or any others scraps of information.

  5. Last time I had this problem was with an AT4 in setup. So if I am right I should have been able to deploy any heavy weapon, as long as I am on suitable ground, so there should be a weapon deploy button, but as you can hopefully see from attachment, that it is missing. Aren’t you supposed to get a weapon deploy button for all heavy weapons when in a place they can setup in? Do ATGM automatically setup in game even when they do not have a target in sight?

  6. Hi thanks for replies, as no one else has seen this bug, it might be an installation bug on my computer. The bug is not happening because units exiting vehicles, here is a screen shot from PBEM game of FISH Battle, which has no red vehicles. I am moving my ATGM to a roof and as you can see from screen shot, no Deploy Weapon option is displayed.

  7. Hi just wondering how it is going on British Module? Is there any chance we will have it this month? Or is that out of the question? I as most people here, check site and forum a few times a day to see if there is any little scrap of info, I was just wondering what are we waiting for? An announcement that it has gone gold?

    Love your work, best game on market, and definitely my favorite game! Keep up the good work done in the past 10 years, thanks for the years of gaming pleasure!

  8. Hi can we please have an update on British Module from BFC, i know for threads it will not be ready before end January, but it has been a month since we received any data or facts about the new Module. How is it progressing? Any tidbits of information would be much appreciated.

  9. Playing against a computer is one thing, but a human opponent is another thing entirely, far more enjoyable and challenging. There are a few sites out there for arranging CMSF PBEM or Online games against other people, but to me the best site is www.worldatwar.eu as it is more than just a place to arrange games, but after each battle you enter results, which count towards your place on the ladder, you receive medals and gain rank and much more.

    On the CMSF Ladder there are at present 14 players on main ladder and 12 in boot camp, so 26 players in total. We need more so have a look.:D

  10. I know v1.10 PBEM's are not compatible with v1.11, so i have now two copies of CMSF on my computer v1.10 and v1.11, to allow me to finnish v1.10 PBEM's.

    My question is can i now start new PBEM's or am i going to have the same PBEM incompatibility problems when British Module is released, will V1.11 PBEM files work with British module ? The British Module should be out soon hopefully !!! so should i start new PBEM's in v1.11 or should i wait for British module ? Can BFC please Comment ? i now British module is an addon and should only effect British games, but i just want to make sure before i have three copies of CMSF on my computer.

  11. hi i have a very old 32bit computer and am thinking of a massive upgrade.

    at the moment graphics are very bad and slow loading and saving when file are large.

    Present Computer

    CPU AMD Athlon 3000+ 32bit Socket A running at 333MHz

    Mem. 2GB

    Graphics Radeon AGP X850XT 256MB GDDR3

    New Computer

    Mother Board : Asus Crosshair II Formula

    CPU : AMD X2 Dual Core AM2 Athlon 64 6400 3.2GHz

    Mem. : Corsair 4GB DDR2 (2x2048MB) XMS2 Dominator 8500C5 with Fan

    Graphics : Asus GeForce GTX 280 1024MB GDDR3 PCI-Express

    This is a very expensive upgrade and will take months to save for but it has to be done. i hope not to have to do another major change for a few years as the motherboard will hopefully later allow me to add another 4GB Mem. , another GTX280 in SLI setup and even go with a triple core CPU when there speeds are faster.

    Any thoughts, ideas and advice welcome !

  12. hi i have a problem in marines javelin teams carry 2 missiles but in PBEM once fired i send the team to a vehicle that has missiles in it, acquire then and they show up in teams inventory and disappear from the vehicle. next turn they have disappeared, not in team inventory and not in vehicle. does anyone else have this problem and if so will it be fixed in v1.11.

  13. Hi I have noticed that acquiring equipment out of a vehicle in unit deployment phase of the editor is not allowed, in the manual it says:

    Deployment Commands

    During Deployment mode a limited number of Commands are

    available for each unit type, mainly related to administrative

    tasks.

    MOVE, FACE, HIDE, ACQUIRE, DISMOUNT, DEPLOY WEAPON, SPLIT

    TEAM, ASSAULT TEAM, ANTITANK TEAM

    Note: The Commands work the same way they do during a battle. See

    the Commands section of the manual for more details.

    But I have no backlit acquire button when in vehicles in the deployment phase.

    In a scenario where an infantry force was say air inserted into a blocking position they might need javelins to defend against tank and APC assaults.

    Is this going to be permitted in future patches?
