Actually you have to pay Euro 12,90 for a small DHL parcel (up to 2kg/4lbs) from Germany to USA. Anyway, looks like we are screwed in Germany. I've paid €40/$60 for Strategic Command 2 and €30/$45 for SC2 Blitzkrieg/WaW. Sorry, but there is no way i will pay an additional $35 for SC2 plus $35 for Patton drives East.

Is the patch compatible with the German version?

Unfortunately, the file does not work with the German WaW version. I played the mod European Theatre (an English mod but no problems so far with my German version), but the game crashed every time Bulgaria, Finland or Romania joined the war (FAILED(animate_and_update_unit_map_for_a_country_when_adding_units ): Segmentation violation). I declared war on them to avoid the problem - same error. So i deactivated them at the script and all seemed fine - until Russia declared war on Romania. Same error, and nothing i could do about it. Desperately, i tried your updated exe and replaced the old SC2-WaW file, but game didn't start at all because elicen40.dll was not found.

It does. I just started a German WaW game and got the new map , artillery etc.

UPDATE: I've finally found and bought SC2 Blitzkrieg at a retailer (MediaMarkt) in Germany. It does indeed contain the WaW expansion. No printed manual or a booklet though, just a PDF file. Thanks for all the help and information.

Thank you for all the answers. So is the new SC2 Blitzkrieg (including the expansion) released in German or English? I thought WaW is not available in German yet? I wouldn't mind buying the English version at amazon.de (probably even better for patches/mods), but "availability 3-6 weeks"...

I've bought Strategic Command 2 a few weeks ago on ebay Germany (looks like it is very rare here). My version has a different cover and no "Blitzkrieg" in the title Now i've seen this on German amazon.de (release was October 24th.) New version of SC2? I thought it's an expansion, but obviously this is not the case. Is this version just a second edition? More questions: 1. The weapons and warfare expansion is not available right now for the German version. Will it be released in the near future, or is there no plans for a German version? Will it be available in stores or online only? 2. If i buy the bundle (SC2+WaW), will i get two separate game boxes (i'm a collector), or just the CDs and manuals without any boxes? 3. I haven't seen a copy of SC2 on ebay.com or anywhere outside Germany. Was SC2 ever released in the USA? Same with SC: there is one offer on ebay.com (cd in a paper sleeve, that's it), but several auctions on ebay.co.uk and .de
