  1. u know i am actually quite content with the mouse menu in previous titles... i don't understand why it has been removed in favor of this... UI. i am looking forward to 1.03, but at the same time i am quite worried... 1.03 is going to make or break the game at least to me.
  2. well as it is the problem does show up even with move or slow even... i noticed this from mission1 of the campaign, where my abrams do the circle dance of death while showing the T-72s it's ass so it can get knocked out... hopefully 1.03 helps in regard of this and with the unit response TacAI, if i get those 2 i think i can finally enjoy the game.
  3. unfortunately thelmia is correct... the TacAI is crippled as it is so it is quite likely that if something goes wrong... ur unit will be completely wiped out before the next command phase kicks in. i've watched my infantry staring at the sky while a hostile infantry squad becomes visible on the building right next to them and starts opening fire. For 50 full seconds my riflemen squad just cower there facing the wrong direction and do nothing while they get cut down one by one.
  4. i am at a loss here, quite often in the hectic battle spanning the length of the entire map (not exactly wise i know) i notice that my units really lack the initiative to open fire on the enemy. My tanks and strykers would just sit there watching the enemy infantry that is clearly within their machine gun reach... the same with my machine gunners... and will only fire when i give them explicit command to do so, why is that? I've tried giving them the best vantage point and i know they can shoot the bastard because if i give them a manual order to do so they will fire on it and kill it, so am i missing something? The same thing often happens with my units under fire, strykers... tanks... rifle squads... they would get peppered by hundreds of rounds with tracers but make absolutely no attempt to return fire... i don't get it.
