Hello all ! And first of all, thank a lot Matt about your mails As most of you guys, after playing without any trouble on the Tow Demo ,I've downloaded my ToW full game as fast as I could despite the fact that I never received my confirmation mail But I am proud to say that I could run the game ONLY ONCE ! Let me explain myself... I have an Athlon64X2 4200 (dual core) with 2Go of Corsair RAM and a Geforce 7900GTX. I run under WinXP SP2 and I have a dual boot with Vista 32bits. My drivers and directX are up-to-date. Well, after the install process under XP, no way about launching the setup and I kept having a "unable to open rts.dll" message. After trying to do all the stuff you guys are explaining on the forum, I finally managed to have the setup screen (I had it by moving msvsomething.dll to windows directory) but I still CAN'T launch the game (nothing happens and I still have the "wrong version error" with the editor). :confused: :confused: Now, let's go to my Vista boot :cool: At first I had the config working, but no way about launching the game and I had also the "wrong version thing" with the editor. Anyway, after the tweaks in the nvidia drivers, THE GAME WORKED !!! I spent one entire night trying units and tactics, very cool game... BUT, after a reboot, no way about launching the game and I have the "rts.dll" error message :mad: :mad: So, my only question is : WHY DOES IT NOT WORK ON XP AND WHY DOES IT NOT WORK ANYMORE ON VISTA ???
