  1. Battlefront can you answer the question. Will there be a hide function in the patch? Thanks.
  2. Will there be a hide function in the patch?
  3. It can be almost impossible to keep your infantry to stay still. Even with hold position and hold fire, they move around. I believe it is a bug.
  4. I have been playing the game, since the day it was released. As many others I was a little disappointed, but now I think it is a really good game – and it gets better and better. As I play more and more I see the big depth the game has, and the great many details. Now I love the camera controls. I like the real time, and use the pause bottom. The game has some problems, but they can be fixed in patches. (LOS/LOF, Cover, hide, AI……) This game has tremendous potential.
  5. I don’t like the idea of fighting a future war against an existing country. I really don’t like, playing that kind of game. So when will WW2 versions be ready.
  6. Why is it not possible to hide? Will it be fixed in a patch?
  7. Waypoints.Waypoints.Waypoints.Waypoints.Waypoints.Waypoints.Waypoints.Waypoints.
  8. Your troops can not enter the building in the game, but you can place the camera inside them…… The houses in the game are fully 3d inside. Wallpaper, fireplaces, stairways…….. Why ……………………………..?
  9. I totally agres!!! It is a fantastic game, and with a few adjustments it will be the best. And this is the most important: Quote: -Waypoints -Dense patches of Woods that block Los and tank movement. -More cover/concealment for troops.
  10. G - 18 S - 12 U - 18 P - 16 (pathfinding 2) O - 17
  11. I have no problems with loading time or jumpy animation. I have a: Intel core2duo, 1.86 Ghz, Ati Radon 1950, 2 Gb Ram. The loading time for the scenario “the last frontier” was 18 sek. (that’s is OK) The animation runs smooth, all animation on the highst setting, and res. 1280 x 1024. BUT this is a BIG PROBLEM. Quote: “The path finding of the vehicles was so bad I almost shut the game off in the first 5 minutes because I ordered a truck to transport my AT gun to a different part of the map, and it decided that instead of drive down the road, it would drive through every tree right next to the road. Not only was it totally impossible that this truck could actually knock over like 8 trees and keep going, but it got shot up pretty bad because it decided to do a little forestry.” IT NEEDS TO BE FIXED!!!!!!!

    Dual Core

I have a new machine: Intel Core 2 Duo, 1.86 GHz. ATI Radeon 1950 2 GB. Ram. But if the game does not support “Dual Core” I only have a slow 1,86 machine!!!

    Dual Core

NO. This is not good. It is a new game, and it should support dual core. (They have been on the market over a year).
  15. This is a from the demo page: "Dual/Quad Core Users: Users of multi-core processors will notice much greater framerate if they select the "Use only one CPU" option in the configuration utility." Does this means Theater of War do NOT support Dual core?

    Movement

Great!!! Will it also be possible to set waypoints?

    Movement

Hey This is my first post, and TOW looks like a fantastic game !!! But I have a question. This is from WorthPlaying preview. “One major omission in the game, at least in this preview version, is the lack of movement indicators. Unlike similar games, right-clicking on the map does not show a movement path, which makes it pretty difficult to determine which units have been given movement orders and which ones haven't. Also, it isn't possible to give a unit waypoints to follow a particular route. To get a unit to follow a road, for example, means the player cannot set and forget the movement path, but instead has to constantly adjust this path with every bend in the road.” Will this change in the final version?
