hey gents, any idea how to overcome the massive overly armored russky tank onslaught on this map? i tried it now about 10 times with different tactics form hiding in a low point with hull down to taking the high ground trying to shoot down etc pp, all in vane. i would much appreciate help on this one by someone who has won this in difficult setting. thx much, himmelstoss

all in all i love it, but....for some reason i stopped playing. there are still allot of things that just straight piss me off. like it seems the allies are always way overpowered in terms of hit and miss etc. than the mp is very week in terms of server stability. than do i have the feeling that its dead in the water and the developers are not caring about it anymore to press ahead with updates nor do i see any add-on coming in the near future. i am playing PanzerCommad: Kharkov right now and i must say playing it already more than i have ever tow, even though it just came out two days ago (matrix games). there is just something that does not jive in tow. but again i still love it for what it is i guess...wired really.... best, himmelstoss

Just unpack mod into game dir... you don't have to backup these folders. The only difference is that you'll need to uninistall and reinstall the game if you decide to go back to vanilla TOW. </font>

hey Sneaksie, can u lead us not so "pc super geeks" to a more precise guide to install ur mod, plz? cuz i dont know what the hellish hell u mean by back up such and such and than just delete some kind of data folder when uninstalling mod. or is there a guide already somewhere? anyhow...thx much, himmel

hi guys, i understand that this: "Vista Compatibility: Windows Vista is not officially supported in Theatre of War, however the 32 bit version of Vista does seem to run the game. The 64 bit version of Vista however will NOT run the Mission-Campaign Editor nor will it run the Battle Generator program.", is so. but, is there any way to make this work in the future and if what does it take, vista service pack 1 or 2 or what ever? thx, himmel

i had the same problem on my vista 64 ultimate pc with not seeing my soldiers moving on Mush's server. after a while of fiddling around on my end without success we found out that setting the server speed on Mush's end to 25.000 did the job. i could even again set all my settings to high and it worked perfectly. thx for all your help Mush, great fun! himmelstoss

1) MP- unit selection from a unit pool 2) MP- option to cut out time restrictions (i hate that!)and to slow down game play and avoid rush attacks. 3) MP- in game chat (for peeps without ts) 4) MP- a game lobby to chat with peeps before going on a server 5) smoke and enter buildings will be in the add on i guess/hope. himmelstoss

i really like it allot specially MP, great fun. cant wait now for the add on cuz i really needs that smoke and the possibility to enter buildings for defensive gaming. weiter so! himmel

i hosted 2 games today, and i had a blast!! let me tell ya. great fun. tried to play with 6 guys in another server, but that crashed. other than that its running quite nicely. look for my server every now and than: Himmel's Hoelle see ya on the battlefield! himmel

same here. when i installed patch same day it came out, i was checking on internet play and there was one server up, so it worked before. thx, himmeltsoss
