  1. I just wanted to say that new set of screenshots look fantastic. I've been waiting patiently for this one. It's been looking fascinating though unfinished for a while, but now it really looks slick. Obviously all this time you've been very busy. The troop poses, especially running, look great. The Syrians look good too. The terrain is looking really cool now, the way the rocks and grass are placed is very realistic. I love all the junk lying around. The new moon in the sky is a cute touch. The buildings look extremely good now, especially up close, and quite varied -- liked the Mosque dome. And the poster of the Syrian tyrant is a hoot!
  2. I like the idea of the add-on modules. And regarding an Eastern Front module, as long as the Axis side remain the same as a corresponding Western Front release (eg - Bagration would be a good one, being roughly simultaneous with Overlord), Eastern Front would be a marketable proposition, wouldn't it...? (plus a number of Soviet vehicles - halftracks etc - were lend lease) I bought 2 copies of CMBB, one for myself, one for a buddy, if it helps you guys market an Eastern Front module, I promise to buy 3!
  3. On a related matter, I'm curious how CMSF will handle the different mine/IED types. There are so many now, from mines and rigged artillery shells to those Iran-style massive shaped charges. And I read about one I hadn't heard of the other day, a platter charge, which apparently has a pretty powerful armour piercing effect. Not to mention the various anti-personnel booby traps the Arabs seem to be so expert at. Not a feature request, just curious...
  4. ( Sorry if this topic has been covered - found nothing in a not-very-thorough search ) I wondered if there were any plans to include some of the nifty new mine protected vehicles in CMSF, such as the Cougar and the Buffalo?
  5. The UI looks cool, but I hope you do implement additional info screens - if only for the geeks. The quite detailed physics of CMBO (all those penetration angles etc) was an incredible eye-opener when I first played it, and one of the things that first got me hooked on the game. I realise it doesn't affect game play, but it is incredibly interesting and a big bonus for some of us...
