  1. ;1457675']You have to add the cmsf exe files to the exception list' date=' which is a little bit difficult to find. it´s in the options.[/quote']

i did many times. i went as far as adding the whole folder along with every exe. for some reason avg wanted to do its own thing. I just got tired of reloading the software.

  2. I am going nuts with this damn software, it keeps trying to erase my cmsf.exe. It has already deleted my other modules.

I have added all the exe's to the exception list along with the folders.

Do need to get another anti-virus software. I do not have to keep remembering to restore.

Please advise on how I can fix this if possible.

    thanks,

    Gen. Solomon

  3. Yes, there's falling snow in varying strengths, from a bare trickle to a full-blown blizzard. Crank up the wind strength for extra fun. ;)

thank you for making my day friend. I am going over to the refresh monkey page and being my vigil.

I am looking forward to making European towns with on rolling hills with heavy snow on the editor. probably going to have a jeep drive around while I lower the camera to follow the unit at ground level.

  4. The module will come with several selection options for snow depth, from a mere powdering with grass poking through to deep drifting snow obliterating roads. I doubt CMFI will be using 'deep' snow much. Even when we hit the Bulge battle players may avoid 'deep' snow for making battles too difficult.

I am extremely excited to fight in the snow. can you tell us if heavy snow fall will be available in this module?

    thanks

  5. Jaws, love the video. can you record a couple scenerios. I have watched all the cmsf vids and would like to curle up with Video AAR on the weekends.

I personal do not have any issues with pathfinding. also, the bocage war fighting was tough so if there are any issues, a minor once in a blue moon isssu, i consider it as an added realism to the game.

I have also found that too many waypoints confuses the units. in your scenrio, I would have plotted one waypoint to the bocage and another to the other side. this way the unit does not make too many pauses.

  6. Steve: maybe you should setup a section for new players that is more of a easy/ no confrontation style by a BF staff that will act like a Hotel receptionist.

also, restrict the experienced user from jumping at the throats of anyone that makes a comment that the inner circle does not approve of.

it makes good business sense to do this as most Pele don't like to be engaged or confronted, just want a place to vent or get information. thats why a PR person should respond in the "safe environment forum section".

Don't take it personal its just business.

I am a cm wargammer and live for digital confrontation. :o)

  7. Right now you can set the weather to rain and the ground condition to dry and the ground condition will progress from dry to wet during the course of the scenario, so in concept you could go from light snow ground condition at the start to deep snow ground condition. No idea if this could also be visual, or just under the hood mechanics.

man, that would be awesome, I would run a cool map and zoom down to watch the snow fall. I used to do this in CMBB.

If they can program the game to visually show accumulation, then BF would have made another feature in a war game that has not been simulated elsewhere in its genre which it is king.

  8. Hey guys,

The demo is amazing so far and i cant to play the full game along with user created scenarios. One of my favorite parts of the game is the weather feature. Downpour is awesome.

One of my favorite weather effects is snow. so, will it be in the Bulge module? also, BF please include a blizzard option like the downpour for rain.

depending on the snow type, will we see the corresponding accumulation on the ground. for example, heavy snow, there is 4-5 inches on the ground.

    thanks,
