I will post some screens soon.

Is this a hoax? twice I went to your dowload and all it did was fill my screen with code and brought my browser to a complete halt. I tried it twice and now I think I will give it a miss. Looks awfully like a virus to me. </font>

Anyway ..this is all making my head hurt ...so gonna give up warring for awhile and back to Racing ..GTR2 and rFactor ..I know I'm good to go there.

Good luck with the patch ..be back in a couple of months to check progress.

You might want to try deleting the ~user.usr file thats the old setting for vedio and it sometimes helps.

To Motomouse: Have you had any freezes since your last post? Just wondering..... and how do you set the Nvidia driver settings such as the ones you listed?

I have a control panel for my ghx card (7600 GF) that has tempature, AGP, Frames per second settings, ect. but I don't see these options there you mentioned?

try deleting the old ~user.usr file see if that works worked for me if you keep monkeying around with the vedio settings the old user.ini file for some reason conflicts with the new one.

Ok got my first freeze today while playing Razors edge. After the first reinforcements I'm handling the Germany patrol looks like it scripted to go certain route, while fixing on them the game freeze’s. I still have sound and I still have mouse control but can not do anything, then I have to sleep mode out then come back up and look at task manager and the program is not responding it states then send off this report, goes to Microsoft with the error dumps not sure if those get handed off to you guys. But the program seems to hang up for some reason.

  5. Ok got my first freeze today while playing Razors edge. After the first reinforcements I'm handling the Germany patrol looks like it scripted to go certain route while fixing on them the game freeze’s. I still have sound and I still have mouse control but can not do anything the I have to sleep mode out then come back up and look at task manager and the program is not responding it states then off it goes to Microsoft with the error dumps not sure if those get handed off to you guys. But the program seems to hang up for some reason.I fixed the proble, by deleting the old ~user.usr file

  6. I have found that using the *target button in the #1 position; (top attack alt-1 key) works great I love that you can watch the range graph bar on the bottom tell you if your in range or not also, I seem to get all my kills on the alt-1 position a lot too. Also make sure your top gunner skills on your character are being used I have noticed the default character is (0) and the observer is (28) so make changes to your AT gunners accordingly.

Yes I'm seeing the same problem a bottle neck at the CPU, Oh well just another excuse to go AMD +6000 AM2 Dual cor with the new ram PC6400 4gb and dual pci e ati x1600 xt 256 mb ram cards. :D

It's funny how you say this is more of as puzzle game for you, as with CMBB that game seems more of a puzzle game for me. I get real bored real fast having to set up my equipment and units and then click on multiple units to issue micro management orders to the same then click on go but to have sat there for 30 minutes setting up to only play out a min of the game than 30 minutes more of clicking around then click go 60 seconds of play than 30 minutes more click go 60 seconds of game play you see where CMBB looses me there. I like action RTS where I can direct the engagment as it unfolds and

If I have to pause the game I pause but that’s me.

I really don't like to have to micro manage sure there’s a few minor issues with game play like the whole dam tank turning to engage a unit somewhere else when it should just turn its turret. But I hope they fix it.

Well good games, ya'll just remember CC series this is not.

    :D:D

  9. aleader its running smooth as silk on that amd+4000 no slow downs can you try that steel torrent and let me know your speeds also turn on task manager and see what your cpu usage and ram usage is? Im asuming your page filing the other bit of ram as I ran test my performace was 1.3 gb of ram peaked with game running and cpu was maxed out.

  12. Umm let me count the ways

1 I love the mini map distance counter

    2 the terrain

3 the modeling of the equipment

    4 the long distance engagments

    5 the interface

    6 damge effects

7 the fact that I can take a control of a tank and tell it what ammo to use and what target to enage

8 The little details of the TO&E of each and every soldier and the equipment they carry

9 The TO&E of the Tanks and their equipemt

10 most of all the methodical tactics I have to employe to over come enemy forces when I engage.

11 the fact that I have to use Combined tactics

12 Have I said how much I love this game?!

This game is what I have been looking for in terms of replacing Blitzkrieg the 2d with 3d rendered models made by Nival, this is what their Blitzkrieg III should have been

Thank you BFC for makeing my dream come true

keep up the good work I'm sure we will se a few patchs but what game has ever realy gone unpatch

Oh I can name a few, but out of respect for those games I will not I do own them though.

I just think you have to be more careful with infantry, or everything for that matter. I am not sure why everyone says they are the win button in these games, well deployed ATGs/sneaky infantry with anti-tank equip equally put the hurt on them provided it isn't outdated equipment.

Last mission I played I think I only lost about 14-15 Infantry out of more than 100 personnel, you just need to make sure they move from cover to cover, out of line of sight and then move them into firing positions to cover the rest coming up from behind (I found ordering holding fire on the move was a good idea also unless assaulting a position, seemed to keep them under stealth).

If you move them across the open or have them start firing out of cover they really are going to drop like flies.

    These are some good observations.

You really need to be patient with your infantry, particularly when on the attack and there is enemy armor around. This is not unreasonable. However the infantry can be very dangerous when the armour is right on top of them...meaning within range of whatever AT weapons they might have, throwing or otherwise.

"Combined Arms" really means alot in this game. It is very important to have infantry supporting tanks and vice versa when the enemy has the same. Particularly on defense. </font>
