This isn't the same product. It is a different product with new features. They need to recover business costs in bringing these features to the older modules. Same product would be to leave well enough alone.
What other companies do? So BF is the same as every other company out there in the world? Their costs structures are the same as say General Electric or Lockheed?
its an upgrade to the same Engine, same game.
-
I had no idea GE and Lockheed made games?

just so you know, this kind of nickel and diming is what got KA50 upgrade for DCS into trouble.
and was not appreciated paying for the same product twice.
engine upgrades are supposed to be free, as in what other companies do.
Case in point they just upgrade all their products to 3.0, so now you buy it at this level. one price for all, now I'm paying for it twice as much then if I just buy it again
in the new wrapper.
so I go into the store not knowing about 3.0 buy CMBN at 2.12, then bam, oh buy the way you want 3.0 version scroll down further you got to buy that separately.
sounds to me a little deceiving.
I guess since I want all the bells and whistle, eye candy? I have to pay another $10.00 dollars, and then 3 months down the line It will all be v3.0 and we paid for it.
It will be at the regular $55.00 dollar price and we actually paid $10.00 dollars more for it.
Just saying..
-
Oh wait, I own the newest version of the CBMN, Italy and Red Thunder; now I have to pay for a 3.0 upgrade?
Sounds a little nickel and dime dealing to me when this was more than likely known, before the release of the new titles.
So now I have to pay for 3.0....?

"You'd have to check the nature of the sackings over the last year (or three) to get an idea of where the executive stands on it all, but I can't see any evidence that this affair is driven by anyone capable of any meaningful display of intellect.
Destruction for the sake of destruction - the manifestation of an over-arching puerility in the psyche of the United States."

No contingencies for an unplugged conflict is not prepared!
Interesting observations you share Gunhappy42. Today on the road in the midst of a radio show encouraging folks to get prepared for this most winter blast the “gadget fetish” was also very evident in the general population. Call in radio show and some folks laughed at the suggestion they have a paper map in their vehicle. Several said I have this and that app so no map needed. One admitted he di not know how to read a map! One might consider what happens when the gadget does not have power or there is no signal and the roads are frozen and you are low on gas and it is near zero outside. There is an app for that and it is located in one’s head
The cell tower tech could be a work around when points of vulnerability - satellites are taken out.
“…I mean the higher echelons of command of course, every level below the battalion will always fight the way they have fought since 1918 until something revolutionizes the area of kinetic weapons and/or body armor….” Basic skills are important to survive and be effective.
Anytime I hear government folks talk about “closely coordinating agencies” solving a crisis I get nervous… and out of town
As for CMSF2 / “Black Sea” … I wonder how Battlefront will incorporate these pieces of the modern puzzle into the game?
yes there is, its called Gorilla war-fare..

Hey Wolfseven, I watched your video and noticed when you gave your squads the "pop smoke" command that you were dragging the purple line in the direction were you wanted them to throw it. I thought the only way to control the direction they throw the smoke was with the "face" command lol. I just learned something new from that thanks, although I'm still not sure how exactly you did it, (still learning the ropes after 1 1/2 years lol) it looks convenient.
You should rename your video and put "CMBN" in the front of the name, that way it will show up when people search "CMBN" in youtube. I tried searching for your video but couldn't find it.
rgr thanks done did it. and all I did was just use face button to move the smoke placement. and noticed that when you do a arc fire area they tend to throw the smoke in the area of which way the wind is blowing, how AI advanced is that?
