  2. Don't worry, guys. There in Czech we are waiting for the patch too. TOW was released by 1C (sic!) there in english version, just with the Starforce protection. Mechanically, making the SF protection over the exe files is matter of...uhm... few seconds? And still no patch? But I am not surprised, it is just weird and expected policy. So, patience...

    slaphappy: I think there are some precomputed visibility values in the maps (especially for the "soft" obstacles like trees/grass/bushes) which speed ups the P2P visibility code...
  4. I soften the defend with the artillery and advance with infantry behind tanks. (Left flank, front squad was providing covering fire). It works fine
  5. Weird weird, I was running it with the similar computer specs on the almost full details. Did you try suggested "use only one CPU" checkbox in the ToW settings?
  6. Lower the screen resolutions and/or closing some background running programs (like antivirus software and misc control panels) maybe?
  7. No problems there with the 128MB card (I have one). The problem may be in the processor maybe?

    You can see the three small cross-hairs on the Attack icon? If you click on one of them, you can change the specific parts targeting. Good option may be to immobilize the tanks first (target on chassis) edit: Elmar was faster...

    If the crew is killed, you can man the guns with the another soldiers. You can shoot on the specific tank parts too (turret, hull, chassis), ofcourse. ToW is a hard game, but not so hard...
  11. panzerdude: I think there is the problem with the display drivers and/or pivot software too, not the video card. I had similar problems - screen was displayed correctly, but mouse cursor movement was inverted. Helped mouseHardwareCursor=0 in the video.ini file to me. The ToW preview versin ran OK on the same graphics card, but different monitor/LCD.

  13. stone75: The World at War ladder ( http://worldatwar.eu ) is planning to include the ToW into it. That's the reason why I asked about the multiplayer battle score in the Madmatt's thread (with no answer yet, but as I hope it will be fine)
  14. madmatt: That's a great news! I hope it will be a really killer game! But as Markus asks: how will be multiplayer game solved there? WeGo turn based, pauseable realtime or no pause? And will be there some clear results like player1score:player2score? Or just the statistics like in the russian version, which tells nothing about the victory value? thanks...
