I'm having no issues with my Athlon 64. Actually, it plays surprisingly well and having an absolute blast overall with ToW. I'm happy the wait is over, and feel it was more than worth it.Originally posted by ASHBERY76:My AMD64 works TOW with no problems or lag.
Kudos 1C and Battlefront!

Thanks, Moon. ToW looks so good, I can't help but stop and admire the scenery and action -- even in the heat of battle.Originally posted by Moon:wow, flintlock, you got a good eye for how to take screens.

Nice screenshot, EliotW. C'mon fellas, let's get some more in this thread.

You're not able to get your troops inside of buildings.

That cover art is beautiful! (In a military sort of way).

At times when I try to move a soldier under fire, I can't and it reads "pinned."

Thank you, Eliot.

Thus far I've tried this with the Russian Maxim MG crew (two man), and I'm able to get them to wheel the MG to different locations.

I had an AT gun crew firing and aiming at the center of a distant approaching Panzer IV. The tank continued towards my position, but the guns fell silent. On closer inspection, I noticed that the turret had taken a hit which dislodged it and forced it to come to rest at an angle within the hull. Nice detail!

Sure, the sound effects could be improved, but I actually find them enjoyable and quite good. Am I in the minority on this, or do others enjoy the sounds within ToW, too?

I haven't had any luck yet either, but it certainly is a lot of fun trying (in a non-frustrating way). If I manage to formulate a strategy that I can successfully execute tactically, I'll post back. In the meantime, good luck!

Perhaps play the Line of Sight/Line of Fire tutorial. I think it may help answer your questions about this.

Welcome, ShiftZ!
Agreed that ToW really is a good game, and only stands to improve over time via patches, etc.
Cheers,
